Mountain Lion @ Cupkas cafe II, 2017 (~12 hours to complete)
General
I had painted the Parrots mural at Cupkas early the year prior. Richie the owner is a big Pitt fan and being a Pitt Alumnus myself, I presented that I paint a fierce mountain lion on the garage in the rear of the property. I added some geometric elements in the Pitt color scheme of blue and gold.
Process
The mural was of my design and derived when researching another project. I came across a photograph of a mountain lion that I knew I wanted to recreate on a large scale.

There is street parking directly in front of Cupkas, the Mountain Lion is at the rear of the Business, just past Raymer’s Parrots Mural.
If you’re planning a trip to see this work, the cafe (on-site) is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Le Petit Chocolat is about 3 blocks down and my go to for handmade truffles and cupcakes. RAYMER approved.
